cause i hate not being able to remember the thoughts i think
and i hate having to wake up not being able to remember how to think
it's maddening to have to feel regretful about having done or not done something
i hate all these annoying things that fill up my life with senselessness
to be bubbling with so many thoughts inside that they are impossible to sort out
unless i clear my mind and just type whatever jibberish my fingers direct me to
open mouth; insert foot
nietzeschean philosophy and dostoevsky tell me
that simply being extraordinary gives me the prerogative to harpoon a whale
maybe it doesn't say exactly that
it says that being extraordinary gives the ubermensch the unitary right
to do whatever he wants.
it's a nice thought to hold on to
until one realises that most of the world can't be extraordinary.
the ubermensch is but one crazed up demon on a power trip
a ruthless bloke who believes not in the morality of good and evil
but in pure unadultered power and those too weak to see or believe in it
the ubermensch holds the world in his hand
and crushes it for the world is large enough only for one man.
that aside, in an imperfect world simply being extraordinary is enough
but most people don't dare to recognise the ubermensch in them
afraid to take the reins
afraid of what lawlessness will bring to their lives
afraid to step out of the invisible box of right and wrong
afraid of morality
afraid of God

"Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, not as in my
presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your salvation
in fear and trembling." [Philippians 2:12]

such is the way of the world
tinkling bells, jumping beats, pleasure, sensation, satisfaction
a simple cloth painted with complicated scrawlings and intricate designs
with the wrinkles already smoothed out by someone else
a two-dimensioned plane where its inhabitants are doomed to eternal solitude
and pangs of loneliness. with nothing to fill the gaps of spirituality
with no strings to hold a puppet doll up or control its jerky motions
every day i surprise myself with how little i know about the world and its ways
and by how people can lead such a futile and purposeless existence
with lucridous gusto
arms wide open to embrace the kiss of death
until death comes knocking, then fear of the unknown prevails
it used to be the way, that the case was not for the existence of God
but what was His will and how He wanted the world to carry it out
now the words are plain for us to see the bible says it all
doubt laces man's trust in the divinity omnipotence and omnipresence of God
man doubts the very existence of God
we reject the truth, even as it lay cold, naked and trembling at our feet
God died for man--to redeem us.
But God is now dead to man-- forgotten.
it's a war well waged against Heaven
now here we have, both sides unwilling to relinquish ground
man, a confounded pawn thrown into the middle of the battle ground
a windwhirl of a downward spiral unsure about which side to choose
or even which side to choose
man fights for the freedom of speech
even though he abandons his freedom of thought (and free will)

knowing this first: that scoffers will come in the last days,
walking according to their own lusts, and saying, "where
is the promise of His coming? for since the fathers fell asleep,
all things continue as they were from the beginning of creation."
for this they willfully forget: that by the word of God the heavens
were of old, and the earth standing out of water and in the water,
by which the world that existed perished, being flooded with water.
but the heavens and the earth which now exist are kept in store
by the same word, reserved for fire until the day of judgment and
perdition of ungodly men.
but beloved, do not forget this one thing, that with the Lord one day
is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.
the Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness,
but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but
that all should come to repentence.
[2 Peter 3:3-9]
