your self esteem is measured by how much you are valued by the person you value most
all people clamour after recognition.
it is just in what form it is, the rcognition people pursue
that shapes their values
recognition in terms of fame, money and power
or the worship of those in the circle of a sub-culture
or perhaps the recognition from friends, family
we all crave recognition to fill the holes in our heart
recognition feeds self esteem and self worth
an inferiority complex
that's why sometimes people don't like to think that there is a God
because they think that God doesn't care
if not life wouldn't be so unfair
and that negates their self worth
God cares
He thinks the world of each and every one of His unique creations
somehow people can't phantom how love can be limitless
how can someone like everyone equally
how can it be that no one is favoured over any other
the world is unfair isn't it?
and they are afraid to be compared
to be measured and found wanting
the ways of God are absurd in man's sight
but when one understands that God so loves the world
that He is willing to stake down His own life to show the world His forgiveness
to wash our sins with His blood
that God knows and loves each and every one of us
then this person will be one happy man
