the world exists because God is there to collapse the wave function of our state of being and existence

outside the boundaries of intellectual circles
physicists are often remembered by oddities
erwin rudolf josef alexander schrödinger is remembered
not for his ridiculously long name
but because of his penchance for a particular cat

it is fortunate, however, that schrodinger didn't actually own a cat
for if he did i'd be rather concerned for the cat's well-being

schrodinger's cat is placed in a sealed box
attached to an apparatus with a radioactive atomic nucleus
and a canister of poison gas
the atomic nucleus has a exactly 50% chance of decaying within 1 hour
if it decays, it will release a particle which will trigger the release of the gas
within the canister, and the cat dies.
if it does not decay, the cat will remain alive
at the end of the hour
it's impossible to say whether the cat is dead or alive
as the nucleus exists as a waveform, the superposition as a simultaneously
decayed and undecayed nucleus
the state of being of the cat thus takes on the waveform of the nucleus
and it is only when the box is opened and the observation made
that the waveform is collapsed, and the state of being of the nucleus
and the cat becomes definite

our state of being involves many particles
it's a waveform of many possible states of being
which too is collapsed by observation

the world is a symphony of waves like music

one can say that the universe does not really exist unless it is being observed
at times we are the observer
like the cat in the box
our observation will confirm the state of being of the cat

but does that necessarily mean that it is what determines the cat's state of being?
some physicists believe that at the nucleus is really both decayed and undecayed
the universe splits into two, so there are two universes one in which the cat dies
and another in which the cat is alive
the same idea is extrapolated through all situations
through parallel universes ad infinitum

still i subscribe to the idea
that history is the connecting of the many single states of beings
through an axis of time
God's omniscience makes Him the observer by default
and we exist because He is here
to collapse the wave function of our existence
