in a land far far away, was a little boy named robin. we were all robin once.
what do you do
when all you really want to do
is to be with the people that you really love
but these are people
who have drifted so far away from yourself
that they hardly have the time for you anymore
what do you do when the people you want to share your life with
want to lead life on their own
what do you do?
i was there not very long ago
maybe having been there
is what makes me less inclined to have anything to say
because i know that what i needed
was for someone to love me unconditionally
was for someone to care enough to listen
for someone whom i could entrust my emotions to
we all chase after different things
it leads us down different paths
so we drift apart
love is what keeps people together
if you love a person enough
it won't matter if he's different
it won't matter if he's flawed
it won't matter if he doesn't have time for you
as long as you're always there for him to catch him
if ever he should fall.
