long vacation--excuses, schmaaacuses
meh. lately i've been laden with too much school stuff to spend time sitting down and writing
it's annoying when you spend too much thinking about things
and don't have the time to pen them down
still i can't help but be reminded of the man whom kierkegaard spurns in one of his parables
the one who 'thinks so rapidly and of so many things but he's unable to pen his thoughts down.
and thus goes to a man to help him take down his words as he speaks them.'
but i can't claim that my life is so packed that i've got no time to write
sartre would be turning in his grave as i write my essay on existentialist ethics.
after all i'm living in bad faith.
pretending that i've got no choice but to do my work instead of engaging in personal reflection
so to prevent myself to continue being inauthentic

i admit that i've got no excuse whatsoever for my long vacation
there's this sense of 'i wish the school term would be over soon so i can start on my various projects'
so i will list the things i want to do during the break and hopefully i'll get at least some of them done...
1. ART
1.1 invest in a tablet, oil paints, new brushes, and canvas
1.2 do CGs, oil paintings, and complete a storyboard + picturebook for jamie
1.3 write the screenplay for a pseudo-movie with HY
2. MUSIC
2.1 write a couple more songs and modify my existing ones
2.2 learn how to play debussy songs on the piano
2.3 JAAAAAAAAM
3. ACADEMIA
3.1 catch up on my readings. hijack the school library and hold the books hostage.
4. LIFE
4.1 shop for things to redecorate my room. a trash can, bean bag, cushions, new bed covers and so on.
4.2 chill out.
4.3 buy a syphon and brew coffee for my mum every day.
4.4 celebrate christmas
